Update March 2014:  Unfortunately, due to “health reasons”, the owners of Compton Ridge Campground auctioned off  everything except the buildings, at the end of the 2013 season…  even the campsite electrical boxes and fire rings were sold.  The property is currently up for sale. It is rumored that a company is interested in purchasing it, but no announcement has been made. I will leave this review, for historical purposes.

Around 1:00am, this morning… an EF2 tornado that was 22 miles long and 400 yards wide, hit Branson, Missouri.  As a local radio announcer stated, the tornado “acted as a tourist” and tore a path straight down the famous 76 Country Music Boulevard, and then down Main Street into Downtown Branson.
