Around 1:00am, this morning… an EF2 tornado that was 22 miles long and 400 yards wide, hit Branson, Missouri.  As a local radio announcer stated, the tornado “acted as a tourist” and tore a path straight down the famous 76 Country Music Boulevard, and then down Main Street into Downtown Branson. for the campsite, from Paula Deen’s “African Chop” Recipe

This is a very easy recipe, to make at the campsite.  The greens and onions can be prepped at home, ahead of time. You can even measure out the spices, and put them all together in a little zipper bag… label it “African Chop Spices”, with a sharpie.

On January 11, 2012, we took The Little Teardrop to Hunting Island State Park, which is in the Beaufort, South Carolina area.  Well, this is now my favorite place on earth! This entire 4-mile long barrier island is a State Park, beautifully wooded with pine and palmetto trees…  and then you have the Atlantic seashore, just a few feet from the wooded campsite. (more…)

While we were staying at Skidaway Island State Park, we spent a lot of time exploring the Savannah area. We felt that we just could not visit Savannah, Georgia, without having dinner at Paula Deen’s Restaurant, The Lady & Sons. (more…)
